All-star resources for when you’re ready to take a new path.

I’ve been marinating, ruminating, and digesting a lot lately (feeling beefy, perhaps?!) and I’ve come to the realization that it’s time for me to make some big changes. Maybe not as drastic as the ones I’ve considered recently, but wholehearted ones nonetheless.

I’m still figuring out how these changes will take form, but wanted to share some of the resources that have convinced me that now is the time. If you feel stuck, are full of excuses that make you feel shitty, or are experiencing plain ol’ malaise, give these ladies a try:

  1. Jen Sincero, author of You Are A Badass At Making Money. I’m only halfway through this book and I feel it coming, y’all. My money is on its way to me!
  2. Cathy Heller of Don’t Keep Your Day Job podcast. You heard it here first: this woman is one to watch. She is the next Oprah. Totally focused on giving you inspiration and practical advice on how to start and sustain your creative career.
  3. Kara Cutruzzula‘s Brass Ring email. A daily pep talk in your inbox. I look forward to them every morning, saving them for after I’ve deleted all the other junk I haven’t gotten around to unsubscribing yet. Reading her emails are the dessert I save for last!

Take it from me, you won’t get far with any of these visionaries without starting to think to yourself, “oh yeah…I’ve got this.”

Let me know what you think of them! And tell me who you look to for inspiration!

Tell me who shows you the way! (Also BTW I’m pretty sure this is the Haiku Stairs hike, which is dangerous and closed to the public, so don’t follow that particular way. You know, if you were thinking about it.)
